You can help drive thousands more people from rural Texas to join us in this year’s Texas Cannabis Crusade.  If you want to spread the word about our march to the cannabis consuming members of your community, consider ordering a box of TCC Posters.  These posters are high quality 18″X12″ full color versions of the poster below.  All you need is spare time, a stapler, tape or spray glue, and you can tell everyone in your city or town that they should join you in Austin on May 1st.

Of course, we would love to ship these posters out to every town in Texas, but our limited budget prevent us from doing so.  Your money goes to cover the overhead costs of printing and shipping these posters.  If you and four of your friends can spare $20, you can order a 100 pack of these posters to hang all over your town, and likely draw in lots of folks who otherwise wouldn’t hear about this event.

Remember this is a grassroots organization, and we depend on our roots [YOU] to help us grow.  By helping us promote this event, you are helping to re-legalize cannabis in Texas!

To order posters, go to www.TexasCannabisCrusade.com.

This Act asserts that all people share a deep biological relationship with plants, and that no plant is to be prohibited under a Constitutional government that protects the fundamental rights of a people.

This Act asserts that the prohibition of plants is a destructive force that censors science, medicine, and the economy.

This Act asserts that no Constitutional government can misdefine the properties of plants so as to render them arbitrarily “dangerous” and/ or criminal.

This Act asserts that no Constitutional government can prosecute its citizens according to a subjective definition of terms.

This Act asserts that the citizens of a Constitutional government possess the sovereignty of mind, and that such citizens are free to think as they choose so as to speak, worship, publish, and petition said Constitutional government for grievances as promised under the 1st Amendment.

This Act asserts that a Constitutional government acknowledges the progress of scientific research, and the sovereignty of religious personal belief and identity.

This Act removes the 1970 Controlled Substances Act, and all related acts of legislation related to the regulation of plants and plant drugs.

This Act establishes a new classification system that protects the right of a people to grow the plants of their choice, while protecting the rights of science, medicine, and the free market to pursue the safest and most productive use of previously controlled substances.

This Act reaffirms that a people are intimately bound to the Earth, and that it is in the best interests of a Constitutional government to allow its citizens the freedoms and dignities of human life.

This Act seeks to restore the heritage of We The People.

Pot Friendly Jobs… why?

Why are we here?

Pot Friendly Jobs dot org was established in 2007, along with Pot Friendly Jobs dot com.  The dot com expired and was back-ordered by a Viagra site.  :( We have continued to serve a unique purpose for unique job seekers, despite adversity.

It is fair to say that a good percentage of the people of this country use cannabis. Whether it be for medicinal, recreational or religious purposes, marijuana users have never conceded to the government’s claim that the herb is dangerous. Cannabis has been illegal in the US for over seventy years, with nearly 20 million arrests made since 1937. Surprisingly, this has not swayed the millions of Americans who chronically partake in the chronic.
So where do these people work? There are thousands of companies who treat the employee use of cannabis outside of the workplace the same as employee alcohol use outside of work. Since alcohol contributes to over 100,000 deaths annually, it is ridiculous for an employer to discriminate against an individual based on their decision to a use a healthier alternative. Yet, many still do.

If there were no “pot friendly” jobs, the nation would no doubt be slowed to a crawl, with no one to teach our children, staff our hospitals, entertain us or build our highways. (Just to name a few) How is it that while cannabis remains illegal, it also remains in the top cash crops of the US? It is the resilience of the true spirit of America. We are not all sheep. Some of us would rather live our lives based on our own set of morals and beliefs than a set of morals and beliefs handed down by a government who enslaved blacks, committed genocide on Native Americans and uses the globe as its nuclear playground.

The trillion dollar toilet flush we call the war on drugs has been an obvious failure. We, as a people, have no other choice than to Outgrow Big Bro. We all need to stand up to and overcome the adversity imposed on us by Big Brother and society in general. This mockery of justice has gone on for so long, because people have long thought that legalization is just a pot-head issue. It’s not. The positive effects that would spring forth from a legalization of cannabis for medicinal, recreational and industrial purposes would be unimaginable.

We could lower gas prices, create jobs, heal the sick and even save the trees. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that we could all get high, which is actually the least important factor. Remember? People do that already. So, one day we may live in a Utopian society, where all jobs are pot friendly, but until then, we are still engaged in a struggle to free the weed.
