Once again, High Times will bring their “Doobie Awards” to Austin, the live music capitol of the world. The Awards will take place at Red Seven 611 East Seventh Street on Saturday March 21st from noon till 6 PM. Nominees this year include Snoop Dog, The Kottonmouth Kings and Manu Chao to name a few.
Also nominated, a few friends of Texas NORML, DJ Slim and Chief Greenbud. DJ Slim’s “I Want to Get High” has been nominated for Pot Song of the Year, and Chief Greenbud is nominated for Best New / Underground Artist. Slim will be rocking the crowd live at The Second Annual Texas Cannabis Crusade, on May 2nd, and Chief Greenbud smoked us out at our last Sixth Street Smokeout.
Speaking from experience, these parties are always a great time, so add it to your calendar.
