Gallup: Record Number Of Americans Now Say They Support Marijuana Legalization
November 1, 2010NORML Blog:Voters Nationwide Decide Marijuana Law Reform Measures
November 3, 2010Across the nation today, Americans will be heading out to the polls to show how they want this country run through the ballot box. While Prop. 19 is only up for vote in California, there are still things we here in Texas can do to try and ensure we get reform here as well during this election. If there’s a politician who you know doesn’t want to re-legalize, show them that they won’t be getting you support either by casting your vote for the opponent. I know it’s not always so cut and dry, but anyone who vehemently denies the benefits of cannabis and uses the same old scare tactics to demonize them, is not someone we should put into or keep putting back into office. We’ll be working hard here in Texas to get legislation backed on Pro-Cannabis laws and need to have people at the Capitol who are sympathetic to the cause. Here’s the list on the few politicians in Texas who have responded to NORML when asked about marijuana law reform. When you go to the polls today, be informed and enjoy the right you have as an American adult to put in some input on who your leaders will be and what laws will be made. Peace and Good Buds and have a great Election day.
