June 15, 2020As you may know, Texas Senate District 14 is holding a special election to fill the position that Kirk Watson will be vacating. There are six candidates that are campaigning for the seat. We have invited all of them to participate in our Special Election Voter Guide and Virtual Candidate Forum.
Here is how you can prepare:
- Review the candidate responses. Find more information here.
- Remind everyone to vote!! Early Voting Starts: Monday, June 29th, 2020 | Election Day: Tuesday, July 14th, 2020. Learn about voting locations, what you need to vote and more HERE.
- Watch and participate in our Virtual Candidate Forum: SD 14 Special Election on Wednesday, July 1st at 8pm CDT. We will also cover primary runoff election highlights and voter information.
- Please make a donation to support this important program!

Texas NORML originated the first cannabis centric Voter Guide in 2012. We continued to expand the program by working with our coalition, Texans for Responsible Marijuana Policy, a broad coalition of organizations, activists, and community leaders dedicated to realizing effective, efficient, and evidence-based marijuana policies in Texas. We will also offer a General Election edition.
